This year I took some classes that really challenged my mind, and push me to greater heights.
Algebra 2+: Every week I had to do a problem of the week and complete all of my homework, most was simple if you paid attention in class, and I realized how much I enjoy the feeling of completing a complex problem AP-Language: This class made me think of complex situations, and how to convert them into a well-rounded essay. Also, in the small units we did, I realized how much I enjoy writing stories and poems; I have the talent to bring others to tears. Example: Three steps That’s all it would take To leave a rotten world behind In a world so dark, three steps that can take the light Three steps That’s all it would take For your friend and family to realize How they can never forget your sparkling smile or your contagious laugh Or how they will miss the way your eyes sparkle in wonder Three steps I would never want you to take Please open your eyes and see that this rotten world is gifted With people that bloom more beautiful than a thousand setting suns For we will try and pull you back, from taking those three dreaded steps Three steps That’s all it would take For you to turn around and leap into our arms We need you to be our shining star in a world so dark Please don’t take those three damned steps |
Another favorite project was the brochure that we did for our satire project; I only have the unedited version.
Or the speech that we had other people read, my partner did a fantastic job of bringing my speech to life; the final version of the speech is in the pdf file below.
